COMPANY HISTORY
1998
Commenced operations providing venture capital of up to $500,000 to companies with strong growth potential.
2002
Transitioned to providing loan financing to companies in the productive sectors including tourism, manufacturing and agriculture
2004
Launched the National Innovation Competition. The winner received cash and the Prime Minister’s Award for Innovation.
2007
Spearheaded the national initiative to refurbish and expand the small hotel sector in readiness for Cricket World Cup 2007.
2012
Moved to own offices in Barbarees Hill.
2013
Commenced disbursements for renewable energy and energy efficient projects.
2019
Celebrated 21 years of providing finance to the SME sector. A commemorative plaque was unveiled on January 11, 2019.
